There seems to be a debate going on about our end of meeting home meeting rider victory parades and majority of fans leaving before they come out and being out of order, must admit the aggro to get out is likely to be a factor.I also think they should be out a little quicker on occassion.
Of course in the old days this rarely happened as the fans were waiting for the second half but today there is no reason to keep them at the track. Many people might say "Why should they get a lap of honour, I do not get one and like them I am just doing my job."
I never said it would be easy: I said it would be worth it.

It's just a polite way of showing appreciation and support for those who a person says they support. The same as clapping your team off the pitch at the end of the game. It's courtesy really, which of course is something that is not seen much in this country any more, and certainly something that isn't taught to many children any more.
Remember that any path that you take in life that doesn't have obstacles in the way, probably isn't a path worth taking !
My boys love the victory parade. It gives them a last chance to say well done to the whole team at the same time and not only that, its nice when the riders show their appreciation for our support. This goes for both teams and we would always stay to congratulate the opposing team should they win. Its polite at the end of the day and when you consider the risks involed for the sake of our entertainment, its something well worth carrying on with.
Do the club still have fireworks and play that hideous old song 'Congratulations' when the Hammers LOSE????? (very odd to celibrate the away team winning!!)
