Through the years

A look back at 25 years of the Hammers

2008 was the 25th consecutive season that the Hammers have plied their trade in British Speedway circles.

Arguably one of their most successful ever, the 2008 team will be remembered as the first ever to finish joint top of the Elite League, their highest ever finish in their 25 year history.

This series of articles looks back at those teams and riders who took to the track wearing the famous crossed Hammers, from 1991's division two title-winning team, the first ever 1984 outfit or the grass roots outfit of 1996.

Sit back and wallow in nostalgia as we take you back through the years...
