The Hammers No.1, Lee Richardson, was taken ill prior to leaving for a Swedish meeting today.
In addition to missing this Swedish meeting he will also miss Wednesday's match for the Hammers away at League leaders, the Poole Pirates.
The Hammers promotion have acted quickly in booking in British Grand Prix rider Chris Harris to guest for them at No.1 at Poole. In addition Joonas Kylmakorpi has been put on standby to guest on Friday in case Richardson has not recovered in time to take his place in the Hammers lineup for their home League match against the Belle Vue Aces.
