HAMMERS RECORD: Daniel was released at the start of August 2009 by Poole and, therefore, sat out the end of that season. In 2010 he joins his brother Jonas as a Hammers asset having been signed from his previous parent club, Poole, in a deal that saw former Hammers asset Ricky Kling become a Pirates asset. 2010 will see him ride for the Hammers for the first time, initially at reserve, but in 2009 he did ride for Poole against the Hammers at the Arena-Essex Raceway on two occasions.
In the ’A’ League match he won two of his five rides but in the ‘B’ fixture he managed only one heat victory due to machine problems. In those three victories he beat Kauko Nieminen twice and his brother, Jonas, once. He is delighted to be joining the Hammers and is looking forward to riding with his younger brother again.
