Andreas Jonsson, the 2000 World Under-21 Champion, returns to the Hammers mid-season as the current Arena-Essex Raceway track record holder.
Jonsson usually turns in typically robust and exciting performances around the Arena-Essex Raceway and co-promoters Stuart Douglas and Jon Cook are hoping the popular Swede can bring his all-action style to bolster the Hammers' strength.
The Swedish Grand Prix star first came to the UK in 1998 with Coventry, averaging a shade under six points a match, before progressing to a fully-fledged top liner during his six-and-a-half years with the Bees.
A short spell with the Hammers last year followed before Andreas capped a successful Grand Prix season with third place at Cardiff and victory in the Scandanavian GP at Malilla.
Jonsson returns to the Hammers having claimed victory in the Danish GP at Parken last May 2008 and Germany in October.
